JM Healthcare is led by John Murray, a senior healthcare operations leader with 20 years of experience running services across the NHS and independent sector.
Twenty years of making healthcare services work
John has spent his career in healthcare operations, rising to senior leadership at Associate Director level. His work has centred on elective care and productivity: theatre and outpatient efficiency, PIFU, DNA and cancellation reduction, waiting list recovery, and the day-to-day operational management that keeps large services running. He has also worked on left shift, designing tier 2 and community services and the commissioning arrangements behind them.
Alongside his NHS career, he has helped build and lead independent healthcare services that deliver NHS-funded care, including specialist neurodevelopmental services through Right to Choose. That work has included reviewing expansion plans, building forecasts and financial models, and advising on growth.
He set up JM Healthcare to offer that combination of operational and commercial experience to NHS organisations, independent providers and private clinics.
