Grow your clinic on numbers, not hunches
Independent advice for private clinics, including aesthetics, dental and specialist practices. I help you decide which procedures to add, what volumes you need, how to price them and how to prepare for tighter regulation.
The decisions that keep clinic owners up at night
Every one of these has a numerical answer. Getting it right before you invest is far cheaper than finding out afterwards.

Break-even volumes per week and per month, and how long it takes to pay back the upfront investment.
True cost per treatment, margin by service and how your pricing compares with local competitors.
Option appraisal for new premises, rooms or locations, with demand, staffing and cash flow modelled.
What incoming licensing and CQC requirements mean for your treatments, team and premises.
Room and practitioner utilisation, diary design, did-not-attend rates and the revenue they cost you.
Will a new treatment pay its way?
Move the sliders to see the break-even point for a new procedure. It is a quick sense-check. A full review adds demand, competition, staffing and regulation.
Your numbers
On these numbers the service covers its costs and repays the investment in about 7 months.
Example figures for illustration only. This is not financial advice. A proper review tests demand, competition, staffing, VAT and regulation.

The government has committed to licensing non-surgical cosmetic procedures, with the highest-risk treatments restricted to qualified healthcare professionals working for CQC-registered providers. That affects which treatments you can offer, who can deliver them and where.
I help clinics work out what the changes mean for their treatment menu, staffing and premises, and whether registering with the CQC opens up services that competitors will no longer be able to offer.
Talk through your position →Consultation on licensing
The Department of Health and Social Care consulted on a licensing scheme for non-surgical cosmetic procedures in England. It received more than 11,800 responses.
Government response published
A tiered approach based on risk (green, amber and red) was confirmed as the basis for oversight. The highest-risk procedures, such as dermal fillers to the breast, buttocks and genitals, are to be limited to qualified healthcare professionals in CQC-registered settings. Age restrictions will be mandated.
Further consultation and legislation
Further consultation on high-risk procedures and the detail of licensing, including practitioner standards, supervision and fees, before legislation and local authority licensing for lower-risk treatments.
Summary of published government policy. It is not legal advice; check the latest DHSC guidance for your treatments.
